Our function manager can assist with your table arrangements and smooth running of your function. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can assist you in any way with your planning and please take the time to consider this information carefully.
No nails, staples or adhesives are to be utilised when decorating. Any damage to the facility will be the responsibility of the hirer.
Cancellation of a function will result in the forfeiting of your deposit and an additional cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fee: 50% - up to 3 months, 75% - up to 1 month, 100% - up to 7 days and after.
The Newtown Event Centre has its own Stereo System allowing guests to play their selection of Music. Bands and DJs are more than welcome. As we are in a residential area, we do insist that DJs, bands etc. keep volume to a reasonable level. Arrangements for pickup and delivery of equipment can be made with the Function Manager.
Ample free on site car parking is available at the Newtown Event Centre. We ask that if your function is a night time event that you and your guests respect our neighbours on leaving the premises and keep noise to a minimum.
DEPOSIT & CONFIRMATION
We will hold a tentative date for a period of 7 days after which time if deposit is not received the date is forfeited. Deposits are required in full within 7 days to secure your date. A deposit of $400 is required for all events. Confirmation of booking will occur upon receipt of the completed and signed function information sheet (including Terms & Conditions) and payment of the deposit.
Any damage caused to the property and fittings of Newtown Event Centre and associated entities whether by you or your guests is the responsibility of the hirer and Newtown Event Centre reserves the right to exercise its rights at law. Whilst all reasonable care is taken, Newtown Event Centre will not be held responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
